Hong Kong Federation of Women (HKFW) is conscious that nurturing elites is essential to consolidate and strengthened Hong Kong¡¦s position as ¡¥AsiaWorldCity¡¦. With the increasing social status of women, HKFW, adhere to the objective of pursuing women with holistic development, takes an active role in training future young female leaders, developing their talents and building up their strengths and ability

The first ¡§HKFW ¡V Youth Leadership Training Programme¡¨ was held successfully in 2005, attracting a large number of outstanding female youth to apply for the programme.Through serious and thorough interview sessions, more than 50 elite applicants were selected to embark on a promising journey. After one year of intensive trainings, the candidates now become alumni and ¡§Youth Affairs Group¡¨ is being set up with the aim to enhance alumni¡¦s caliber in leadership.To pass on the opportunity, the second term of ¡§HKFW ¡V Youth Leadership Training Programme¡¨ has been organized, spreading the spirit of HKFW leadership.


  • To nurture young female leaders with leadership capacities; to become deeply rooted in Hong Kong; to instill the sense of belonging to Hong Kong and China and; to broaden their scope of international vision;
  • To encourage young women to concern about Hong Kong community and to take an active role in serving the society;
  • To liaise and form networks with the youth organizations from Hong Kong, Mainland China and overseas, fostering cultural exchange.
